VoxelMind Privacy Notice (United States)

1. Who is responsible

Nyvoro UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a company based in Germany. Our postal address is set out in our Imprint at voxel-mind.com/impressum. Contact: [email protected]. We are a German company; your data is processed in the European Union and, for some services below, in the United States.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email and basic profile from your sign-in provider (Google or Discord OAuth), your Minecraft username, your date of birth (asked once, used only to verify age eligibility), and the country derived from your network at signup.
• Companion data: the chat messages you and your Companion exchange, and gameplay context around the Companion (position, world events, actions) needed to make it behave.
• Memory: what your Companion remembers about your shared play (this is the product). Free-plan memories roll off after about 7 days; paid plans keep them until you delete the bot or your account.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers. We store subscription status and purchase history.
• Technical data: logs, error telemetry, and basic usage events to keep the Service working.
• We do NOT collect: precise location, contacts, biometrics, or advertising identifiers. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.

3. How we use data

To operate the Companion (including sending conversation and game context to our AI providers to generate responses), to remember what your Companion should remember, to bill subscriptions, to keep the Service safe (moderation, abuse prevention, crisis-keyword safeguards), to fix bugs, and to send service emails. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. AI processing (please read)

Companion responses are generated by large language models. To do this, relevant conversation and game context is sent to the AI providers listed below under our agreements with them. We do not use your conversations to train our own or third-party foundation models, and our providers' API terms state that API data is not used to train their models. Safety systems (content moderation and crisis-keyword detection) run on conversations to protect users; where our systems detect a self-harm or crisis expression, the companion is designed to respond with a supportive message that includes helpline information (in the US, call or text 988), and the detection may be logged.

5. Service providers (processors)

International transfers from the EU rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards. We have data processing agreements in place with these providers.

6. Retention

Free-plan Companion memories roll off after about 7 days. Paid-plan memories persist until deletion. Account deletion removes your profile, bots, memories, and event streams (full cascade). Payment records are kept as required by tax law (Germany: up to 10 years). Logs rotate on shorter cycles.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In the United States, VoxelMind requires users to be 18 or older. If we learn that we collected personal information contrary to this, we will delete it; parents or guardians can contact [email protected].

8. Your choices and rights

Regardless of whether a specific state privacy law applies to us, we honor these requests for all US users: access a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account and associated data (self-service in your account, or email us), and cancel subscriptions online at voxel-mind.com/cancel. Email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under "Do Not Sell or Share"; if that ever changes, we will update this notice and provide an opt-out first.

9. Security

TLS in transit, access-controlled infrastructure, JWT-scoped database access, and moderation and safety gates on Companion output. No system is perfectly secure; report issues to [email protected].

10. Changes

We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-product at least 14 days in advance.
